Hi guys- I’m baaaack! Wow- honestly can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve even logged onto this site, much less written a post. There has been so much change this year, and between that, getting married, moving… Let’s just say the blog needed to take a major back seat while adjusting to all the newness in my life. While I love blogging, taking time to adjust to change and enjoying the first few months of married life was just what I needed. Now that I’m back though, I hope I can continue with this regularly, because it’s a time to focus on fun things I’m loving + it gives me a chance to unwind and use this little creative outlet for some “me time.”
The first thing I did when I logged on today was change my site name/address. I just had to incorporate my new last name in there somehow and love how it turned out! I can’t get over the fact that my last name is basically my favorite coffee chain, so had to use my new site title as a cute nod to that fact 😉
Now for the main reason I’m here today- to share my new favorite infused water. Who else has trouble getting their recommended amount of water in the day to day grind? I know I would 100% rather grab something with flavor over a boring glass of water, so needless to say I was thrilled when I found/tried this Autumn Infused Water that tasted like something they would offer at a spa (don’t try to tell me spa water isn’t from Heaven itself). I guarantee it tastes delicious- especially for this time of year- and will be a fun addition to what would normally be a typical glass of water.
I’m so happy to be back here, and can’t wait to hear what you think of this delicious infused water! Add it along to your Thanksgiving table this year as it looks just as wonderful as it tastes!
RECIPE FROM SELF PROCLAIMED FOODIE
Recipe makes one large pitcher (Around 12 servings)
- 1 apple (sliced into small pieces)
- 1 pear (sliced into small pieces)
- 1 plum (sliced into small pieces)*
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- Combine all ingredients in a pitcher with water. Keep in refrigerator and add more water as needed (infused water will last a few days).
*I used an extra pear in the place of a plum and it tasted delightful! This recipe can be personalized to what you like and will taste just as great 🙂
